PERMANENT CONTRACTS FOR SOCIAL CARE
LEADER
–
RESIDENTIAL/RESPITE SERVICES
Candidates must be experienced Social Care practitioners. They must hold
hold a degree in Social Care or equivalent relevant qualification,
and must be registered with CORU.
Candidates should;
Ø
Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working as Social Care Worker in
an area providing services for people with an intellectual disability.
Ø
Demonstrated ability to lead teams in
delivering person-centred, individualised care plans, ensuring dignity,
respect, and tailored support for each individual.
Ø
Experience working within residential services is desirable.
Ø
Experience working in a management role would be advantageous.
Ø
Must be Registered as a Social Care Worker with CORU.
Ø
Trained and experienced in the Safe Administration of Medication.
Ø
Excellent working knowledge of HIQA and other relevant bodies.
Ø
Be enthusiastic, flexible and committed.
Ø
Have strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
Ø
Have a multi-disciplinary team approach to service delivery.
Ø
Have a B Full Licence for at least 2 years
Ø
D1 licence desirable
Ø
Knowledge and experience of working with people presenting with
challenging behaviour would be an advantage.
