 Candidates must be registered with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) -  Intellectual Disability (RNID).

Psychiatric or General Disciplines will be considered with relevant experience working in the ID Sector

Candidates should:

  • Have experience in a Residential/Respite service setting.
  • Be enthusiastic, flexible, and committed.
  • Have strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Have a multi-disciplinary team approach to service delivery.
  • Have knowledge and experience of supporting people presenting with challenging behaviour
  • Have Full B Licence / D1 licence desirable

 

PERMANENT CONTRACTS FOR SOCIAL CARE WORKERS –

DAY, RESIDENTIAL/RESPITE SERVICES

 

Candidates must be experienced practitioners with a Social Care qualification at degree level.

 

Candidates should:

 

  Have A minimum of 3 years’ experience providing services for people with an intellectual disability in Day/ Residential/ Respite services.
 
Be Registered as a social care worker with CORU or completed CORU application as ‘intend to apply’.
 Be trained and experienced in Safe Administration of Medication.
 Be enthusiastic, flexible and committed.
 
 
Have strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
 
Have a multi-disciplinary team approach to service delivery.
 
Have Knowledge and experience of supporting people presenting with challenging behaviour
 Have Full B Licence / D1 licence desirable

Candidates must hold a minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in healthcare or another relevant area.

Candidates should:

  • Have a multi-disciplinary team approach to service delivery.

Permanent Accounts & Payroll Assistant

 

An opportunity has arisen within our administrative team for full time 35 hour working week permanent position of Accounts & Payroll Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of preparing pay on a weekly basis via our Quantum Payroll system.They will also have responsibility for the recording of all financial transactions such as invoices, creating orders, preparing payments for authorisation and payment.

 

Ideally the successful candidate will have obtained a Certified Accounting Technician Qualification and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Qualification in payroll is desirable and experience with Quantum Payroll and Sage 50.

Permanent Position of Accountant/Financial Controller

 

An opportunity has arisen within our administrative team for full time 35 hour working week permanent position of Accountant/Financial Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of financial control across the service. Duties will include but are not limited to, preparing monthly Management Accounts, Annual Budgets, financial reports for the Manager of Services and/or the Board of Management and line management of the administrative staff, and those responsible for Accounts and Payroll.

 Ideally the successful candidate will have 5 years post qualifying experience. Experience of the disability, Charity, Section 39 sector would be desirable but not essential.

Ard Aoibhinn provides Day services provides for people with an intellectual disability and special needs from 3 locations in the Wexford Town Area. Services are offered to pre-school children, Adults and an Elderly Group. .

 

Ard Aoibhinn currently supports 3 residential homes for people with and intellectual disability with High support needs and low support needs. Respite and Family support services are managed through our residential services.
